Client: Mammoet

Mammoet maneuvers the “Aasta Hansteen Living Quarters”, manufactured by CKT Projects, onto a transportation ship. The platform will provide living quarters, including housing and a medical center, for the first deep-water platform to be erected in the North Sea near Norway. Because of the draught of the transportation ship it was not possible for it to dock level with the quay side. Mammoet’s solution was to situate a pontoon between the ship and the quay. This way the ship could remain in deeper water to achieve the right level of draught for the roll-on.
